HER SPORTS is a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in Central Virginia, committed to empowering girls through sports, mentorship, leadership development, and holistic wellness. Over the past five years, HER SPORTS has created inclusive and transformative spaces where girls grow strong—on and off the field—through youth leagues, clinics, workshops, and award celebrations. Our programs are built on the H.U.S.T.L.E. values: Health is Wealth, Unity is Community, Strive for Excellence, Trust the Process, Lead the Next, and Earn Respect.
With hundreds of girls served across Central VA, HER SPORTS is more than a program—it’s a movement for equity, empowerment, and sisterhood.
Sponsoring HER SPORTS is an opportunity to invest in the future of girls, sports, and leadership. Your support helps us offer free or low-cost access to impactful programming—like our Basketball & Flag Football Leagues, HUSTLE Academy workshops, HER SPORTS Day, and our Annual Awards Show.
Designed to educate, engage, and empower girls through high-energy clinics, seasonal league play, and competitive camps. We create safe, inclusive spaces that promote confidence, skill-building, and a passion for the game—laying the foundation for success in middle school, high school, and beyond.
Signature 12–16 session holistic workshop series designed for 5th–8th grade girls, co-developed with the UVA Youth & Social Innovation program. Rooted in our H.U.S.T.L.E. values, the curriculum delivers empowering experiences through interactive activities focused on mental health, identity, leadership, self-care, vision-building, and community sisterhood.
Our red-carpet celebration of girls in sports. With 6,500+ votes in 2025, this event showcases local girl athletes, coaches, and changemakers—fueling pride, excitement, and community love.
A free, fun-filled event for youth under 14, designed to celebrate play, wellness, and community. The day features interactive sports development stations, health and wellness vendors, free food, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities for kids to connect, move, and thrive in a safe and inclusive space.
HER SPORTS remains committed to removing financial barriers, offering free or low-cost programming for girls across Central Virginia and beyond. But each experience has real costs. Here's the true annualinvestment per participant:

Yes. HER SPORTS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions and sponsorships are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We will provide an official receipt for your records.
All funds go directly back into supporting HER SPORTS programming. This includes providing scholarships for girls, purchasing equipment, covering facility rentals, supplying materials for workshops and clinics, contracting with trusted community partners, and ensuring meals and snacks are available during events.
We serve school-aged girls, primarily in grades 3–9, across Central Virginia and expanding regions like Northern Virginia. Our focus is on empowering girls from underrepresented communities through holistic youth development.
Sponsors are recognized across multiple touchpoints including event signage, program booklets, social media shoutouts, website placement, and community newsletters. Higher-tier sponsors receive premium branding at major events like the HER SPORTS Awards and HER SPORTS Day.
